The Challenge
Modernize a high-traffic supplement storefront and grow subscription revenue without sacrificing performance or content depth.
The legacy storefront carried years of theme bloat — slow page loads, a fragmented mobile experience, and a checkout that treated subscriptions as an afterthought. Educational content about ingredients and sourcing lived in silos disconnected from the products it supported, so shoppers researching a supplement rarely converted in the same session. Marketing needed a system they could update without an engineer.

Audit & Performance Baseline
We profiled the existing theme, mapped the top conversion paths, and set hard performance budgets for every template before writing a line of code.
Headless Architecture
We rebuilt the storefront on Shopify Hydrogen, decoupling the front end so product, content, and subscription logic could each evolve independently.
Subscription-First Checkout
Recharge was integrated natively into the product and cart experience so 'subscribe & save' became the default, not a buried option.
Composable Content
Ingredient science, sourcing stories, and PDP education were modelled as reusable blocks the marketing team controls directly.
The Solution
What we shipped.
The result is a headless Shopify Plus storefront where content and commerce finally work together. Product pages load in under two seconds, surface the science behind each formula inline, and make subscribing the path of least resistance. Klaviyo flows re-engage lapsed customers, while the marketing team ships new landing pages and campaigns without touching code.
